Amarkantak (NLK Amarakaṇṭaka) is a pilgrim town and a Nagar Panchayat in AnuppurMadhya Pradesh, India. The Amarkantak region is a unique natural heritage area and is the meeting point of the Vindhya and the Satpura Ranges, with the Maikal Hills being the fulcrum. About:

The town’s name is derived from the Sanskrit word “Amara”, meaning
immortal, and “Kantak”, meaning a place of spiritual significance.
Amarkantak is considered a Shakti Peeth, a revered Hindu site where it is
believed that the divine energy of the Goddess Sati fell. The region’s rich
cultural heritage, coupled with its serene natural landscapes, makes
